Ethan Evans of Franklin, Tennessee shot an impressive six-under 64 in round two for an overall score of ten-under 130 at the halfway point of the 118th Southern Amateur Championship. Evans fired eight birdies today.
“It was a solid day all around,” said Evans. “I’m just going to try and keep the same mindset [going into the final two rounds], have good composure on the course and take it shot by shot.”
Quinnton Croker of Australia stands second after posting a round two score of five-under par 65 and an overall score of nine-under 131.
The following players stand T3, each posting seven-under par 133 overall.
