EATONTON, GA (June 18, 2021) - Final round results of the 48th Southern Junior Championship of the Southern Golf Association hosted by Great Waters at Reynolds Lake Oconee, in Eatonton, GA, on Friday, June 18, 2021 (7128 yards, par 36–36–72, 74.6/141).

Jack Roberts of Saint Marys, GA fired 14-under-par 202 to claim the 49th Southern Junior Championship title. A rising high school freshman, Roberts led wire-to-wire. He finished his Final Round three-under 69 to claim victory.
“I think it’s pretty special,” Roberts said. “Especially since I’m one of the youngest players here. I'd like to thank my coach, my family, and my friends for coming out here to support me these past couple of days.”
At fourteen, Roberts is one of the youngest players in recent history to be crowned the Southern Junior Champion.
Ryan Davidson of Flowery Branch, GA posted a final six-under 66 to finish second. Overall, he carded 11-under-par 205.
”It feels awesome to be second place,” Davidson said. “Of course, I didn’t want to lose it, but I was hoping if I didn’t get first place that Jack would be the one to beat me, and he did. He’s a great player.”
Hudson Weibel of Dallas, TX finished third, posting three-under 69. Weibel posted five-under-par 211 for the tournament.
”I’ve been playing good golf lately, so it’s nice to see the results come through,” Weibel said. “I finally got some putts to fall yesterday and today, and it carried me through.”
The state of Georgia claimed the State Team Competition title with a total score of 554, claiming the top four spots in this year’s tournament. Listed below are the players of Georgia, who posted the lowest four scores from the first 36 holes:
