Birmingham, AL (March 19, 2020) - The Southern Golf Association encourages everyone to heed the recommended safety protocols and precautions announced by local, state and federal government officials. Together, we can help stop the spread of the virus by adhering to the social distancing and personal sanitizing recommendations.
We are closely monitoring the latest CDC recommendations and will quickly announce any necessary schedule changes to ensure the health and safety of players, spectators, host club officials, volunteers, board members and staff.
Currently, the 48th Southern Junior Championship at Blessings Golf Club in June, the 114th Southern Amateur Championship at Maridoe Golf Club in July and all Southern Amateur qualifying events remain on schedule.
If a championship or qualifier is cancelled, players will receive a full entry fee refund.
