PINEHURST, NC – Third round results of the 111th Southern Amateur Championship of the Southern Golf Association hosted by The Country Club of North Carolina (Dogwood) in Pinehurst, NC on Friday, July 21, 2017 (7301 yards, par 36-36—72, 74.9/135).
Stoney Crouch of Mount Juliet, TN and Lloyd Jefferson Go of the Philippines share a one shot lead heading into the final round of the 111th Southern Amateur Championship at 205 (-11).
Six players are within two strokes of the lead including 18 hole and 36 hole co-leader Karl Vilips of Australia.
Defending champion, Jimmy Stanger of Tampa, FL carded a third round 72 (213) and stands in a tie for 31st place.
